Kanye West hospitalized after on stage meltdown; remainder of tour canceled

Three songs into his show in San Jose, Kanye West went into a bizarre rant saying that he didn’t vote in the presidential election but that if he had, he would have voted for Donald Trump.  He called Trump’s use of social media “very futuristic.”

He then addressed Hillary Clinton saying: “It’s a new world, Hillary Clinton, it’s a new world”…”feelings matter…everybody in middle America felt a way and they showed you how they felt – feelings matter, bro.”

He then spoke of having visions and abruptly ended the show.

Later that evening, West was admitted to Ronald Reagan Hospital in Los Angeles for exhaustion.  The AP reported that upon arrival West was placed on a psychiatric hold.

The rest of his tour (21 dates) has been cancelled.
